USA’s Saurabh Netravalkar and Nepal’s star spinner Sandeep Lamichhane have made significant gains in the latest MRF Tyres ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings.
- Maqsood and Goud among others to advance in latest men’s weekly update
Saurabh Netravalkar of the United States and spin bowler Sandeep Lamichhane of Nepal have made notable progress in the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings after some fine performances in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 series at Al Amerat in Oman.
Left-arm fast bowler Netravalkar grabbed three for 39 versus Oman last Thursday and four for 29 against Nepal the following day to advance 12 places and reach 72nd position in the bowlers’ list. Lamichhane’s six wickets in his last two matches against the USA and Oman have lifted him 12 places to 79th position.
Oman captain Zeeshan Maqsood has also moved up 12 places to 86th while Karan KC of Nepal is up 31 places to 127th in the men’s weekly rankings update, which is carried out on Wednesdays.
The update for batters also sees Monank Patel of the United States move up 12 places to 101st and Mohammad Nadeem of Oman up 17 places to 107th position. Jaskaran Malhotra (113th) and Steven Taylor (123rd) of the USA and the trio of Sandeep Goud (115th), Zeeshan Maqsood (116th) and Jatinder Singh (120th) have also gained in the latest update.
