The South Australian Cricket Association are pleased to announce New Balance as the provider of all domestic playing and training apparel ahead of season 2021/22.

With the opening fixtures of the summer recently confirmed by Cricket Australia, the unveiling of New Balance as official uniform supplier continues the rapidly building anticipation for another massive summer of cricket.

The partnership will see New Balance providing brand new, exciting playing kits and training uniforms for all teams in the Marsh Sheffield Shield, Women’s National Cricket League, Marsh One-Day Cup and Pathway Programs, as well as all match official apparel.

Each piece of kit is fresh and unique, with the Marsh One-Day Cup and WNCL playing apparel particularly striking due to its retro design, inspired by the colourful limited overs attire of years gone by.

SACA are also pleased to welcome Belgravia Sports Apparel (BSA) as a partner in this arrangement. BSA are the Australasian elite teamwear partner of New Balance supplying both supporter and performance products for all elite partners.

Darren Tucker, Vice President New Balance Asia Pacific spoke of the positivity the partnership will create for all involved.

“New Balance is excited to be working with Belgravia Sports, State and Territory Associations and Cricket Australia on this program.

“New Balance is currently in a very exciting development stage and the relationship with cricket and the elite and pathway players gives the brand a great opportunity to build on the already exciting growth the brand is experiencing.

“We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship between all parties.”

Tim Nielsen, SACA General Manager of High Performance is equally delighted with the fresh start ahead of the 2021/22 season.

“We look forward to working with New Balance in the coming years and thank them for their investment in our great game. The kits look and feel fantastic and the Redbacks and Scorpions both can’t wait to take the field in the new gear.”

The West End Redbacks are set to open their summer with a Marsh One-Day Cup clash against Western Australia at Karen Rolton Oval on September 22, while the Scorpions are pencilled in to begin in December, with an official date yet to be confirmed.
