Oman Cricket: Pankaj Khimji set to be appointed as Asian Cricket Council Vice President

The Oman Cricket Board, officially known as Oman Cricket, is the governing body for cricket in Oman, headquartered in Muscat. It represents Oman in the International Cricket Council, having achieved affiliate status in 2000 and associate membership in 2014. The board is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council.

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mr Jay Shah of India has informed all the members of ACC that Mr Pankaj Khimji, Director of Oman Cricket has been appointed as Vice President of the Asian Cricket Council.

The appointment of Mr Pankaj as Vice President of Asian Cricket Council will be effective from the 2021-22 AGM of ACC which is scheduled to be held within the next two months.

Mr. Madhursinh Jesrani, Secretary of Oman Cricket said of the appointment “Pankaj Khimji has been an invaluable member of Oman Cricket throughout his tenure with Oman Cricket. His experience and knowledge in cricket administration will bring great strength to the development of Cricket in Asia and I am delighted on his appointment as Vice President of Asian Cricket Council”.
