The Adelaide Strikers are pleased to announce a new partnership for the upcoming WBBL season with Oval Hotel that will see the premium boutique accommodation provider on the front of the WBBL playing shirt.
Situated at the iconic Adelaide Oval, the contemporary hotel is a fitting partner for the Strikers WBBL team, who will play two fixtures at the venue during the upcoming WBBL|07 as part of a huge set of fixtures scheduled for the southern state.
Kate Harkness, General Manager Adelaide Strikers, warmly welcomed the new addition to the team.
“It is great to have Oval Hotel coming aboard our WBBL campaign this season. Cricket is at the heart of South Australian culture in both spirit and location, and while the Oval Hotel is still young, it has quickly found its place within our historic sport. We are delighted to welcome them to the Strikers.”
As a summer featuring a seemingly endless list of elite cricket begins, Oval Hotel is positioned to welcome the world in 2021/22 with the easing of COVID restrictions continuing nationally and globally.
In addition to WBBL contests, fans will be able to travel to the country’s only stadium with an onsite hotel for events headlined by a day/night Ashes Test Match and two Women’s limited overs international fixtures, as well as seven BBL clashes, including the incomparable New Year’s Eve fixture that is a jewel of the competition.
