The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly the Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan, is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It oversees and organizes all tours and matches for the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, the PCB represents Pakistan's men's and women's teams in international cricket tournaments.

The 61st meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the Pakistan Cricket Board will be held on Saturday, 27 February, at 1100, in Karachi.

On the following day (Sunday) at 1100 in the Governor Room, Marriott Hotel, the outcomes of the meeting will be announced in a media conference, which will be attended by PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani, Chief Executive Wasim Khan and Director – High Performance Nadeem Khan.

As per PCB Covid-19 Protocols and due to limited space in the conference room, camerapersons are not allowed. As in the past, the press conference will be live-streamed on the PCB YouTube Channel. After the conclusion of the press conference, unedited broadcast quality footage will be provided to the TV news channels.

Some of the matters that will be discussed are:

  • Chairman and CEO’s reports
  • First Boards of the six Cricket Associations
  • Updates on Pakistan cricket teams and HBL PSL 2021
  • Updates from Audit, Human Resource & Remuneration and Risk Management Committees
  • Approval and modification of bylaws
