Central Punjab Blues Abrar Afzal has been reprimanded for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during his side’s three-day match against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Blues in the ongoing National U19 Championship 2021-22 at Islamabad’s Shalimar Ground.

Abrar committed a level 1 offence when he delayed his departure from the crease after being given LBW. As such, he was found guilty of violating Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Player and Player Support Personnel.

Abrar accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Athar Liaq. The charges were levelled by on-field umpires Muhammad Kaleem and Fahim Bukhari.
