The HBL Pakistan Super League Player Draft 2021 will take place at the High Performance Centre in Lahore on Sunday, 10 January 2021.
Below is important information for media attending or following the event:
Event time – The event will commence inside the Bob Woolmer Indoor School at 1630PST, with the guests expected to arrive from 1530PST.
Media opportunities – Team representatives are expected to visit the media working area and will be available for brief news conferences in between the Draft. At the end of the pressers, unedited broadcast quality video clips will be provided to the respected members of the media.
Media facilities – A dedicated media working area will be available for the covering media. This will include live-feed from inside the Bob Woolmer Indoor School, desk seats, power-points, high-speed internet, water/tea/coffee and snacks.
Live-coverage – The HBL PSL Draft will be free-to-air for all TV channels. A technical team will be available to align delivery. Fans can enjoy full coverage on Geo Super, the PSL YouTube channel and BSports YouTube channel.
Photos and media release – Photographs of the event will be available for free download and editorial use through a link to be shared by PCB here. At the end of the event, the PCB will put out a media release, which will include final squads and quotes.
Media accreditation – Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation that has placed restrictions on the number of attendees, only one reporter per media outlet will be accredited. As per the event protocols and in line with the PCB’s duty of care policy, all media who will test negative in the PCB-organised testing will be issued accreditation passes, which will be available for collection from outside the venue on event day from 1500PST-1600PST.
