Karachi, 22 January 2020: The Pakistan national women’s team will undergo an eight-day-long training camp, which will run from 23-30 January, in Karachi prior to their departure for Australia, on 31 January, to participate in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
The following is the schedule for training and media activities:
Thursday, 23 January:
Iqbal Imam, the head coach of the national women’s side, will hold a media talk at the UBL Sports Complex at 12.15pm.
The women’s team will play a practice match, which will begin at 1pm.
Friday, 24 January:
A squad member will hold a media talk at the press conference hall of the National Stadium at 3pm.
The women’s team will hold a training session from 3.30pm-5.30pm at the National Stadium.
Saturday, 25 January:
A squad member will be available for a media talk at 5:30pm at the press conference hall of the National Stadium.
The women’s team will play a practice match, which will begin at 7pm, at the National Stadium.
Sunday, 26 January:
A squad member will be available for media interaction at 5:30pm at the press conference hall of the National Stadium.
The national women’s team will play a warm-up match, which begins with 7pm, at the National Stadium.
Monday, 27 January:
A squad member will be available for a media talk at 2.30pm at the press conference hall of the National Stadium.
An optional training session has been scheduled for this day.
Tuesday, 28 January:
A squad member will be available for a media talk at 12.30pm at the UBL Sports Complex.
The national women’s team will play a practice match at 1pm at the UBL Sports Complex.
Wednesday, 29 January:
The national women’s team will have a training session from 3.30pm-5.30pm at the National Stadium.
A squad member will hold a media talk at the press conference hall of the National Stadium at 3.15pm.
Thursday, 30 January:
Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof will hold her pre-departure press conference at the press conference hall of the National Stadium.
The time will be confirmed closer to the date.
