Right-arm fast Mohammad Shoaib has been ruled out of the Pakistan U19 series against Bangladesh U19 due to ankle injury.

Pakistan and Bangladesh are currently playing a four-dayer, while the three 45-over-per-side fixtures and two T20s at the Multan Cricket Stadium will be played from 10 to 18 November.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shoaib, who was part of the squad in all three formats will be replaced by another right-arm fast Mohammad Zeeshan. Zeeshan – who is already part of the squad for two T20s, will now join the U19 squad for three one-dayers.

Central Punjab’s Zeeshan had bagged six wickets from five matches in the National U19 Cup (50-over tournament) . He had topped the bowling charts in the inaugural edition of Pakistan Junior League featuring for Bahawalpur Royals where he took 14 scalps from eight outings in the tournament.
