Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nasir Afridi has been fined 30 per cent of match fee for a level 1 breach of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during his side’s Cricket Association T20 match against Northern yesterday.

Nasir violated Clause 2.8 of the conduct when he delayed his departure from the crease and raised his hand towards the umpire after being given caught behind.

Umpires Ahmed Shahab and Imranullah Aslam levelled the charge, and Nisar who pleaded guilty to the charge, accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Athar Laiq.
