PCB: Pakistan v West Indies women’s series – Schedule of training and media activities in Karachi

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly the Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan, is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It oversees and organizes all tours and matches for the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, the PCB represents Pakistan's men's and women's teams in international cricket tournaments.

The West Indies women’s cricket team arrived in Karachi today (Sunday) to take on Pakistan in eight limited-overs matches at the National Bank Stadium. The three ODIs, which are part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25, will be played from 18-23 April and will be followed by five T20Is from 26 April to 3 May.

Schedule of training, media conferences and ODIs: 

15 AprilPakistan and West Indies will hold training sessions at the National Bank Stadium from 2.30pm. Beforehand, the West Indies are expected to make a player or a member of the support staff available for brief stand-up interviews.

16 AprilPakistan and West Indies will train at the National Bank Stadium from 10.00am. Afterwards, a Pakistan team player or member of the player support staff will be available for brief stand-up interviews in front of the main pavilion on the ground level.

17 AprilPakistan and West Indies will train at the National Bank Stadium from 10.00am. Afterwards, opposite captains Hayley Matthews of the West Indies and Pakistan’s Nida Dar will hold pre-series press conferences in the Press Conference Room, Level 3, National Bank Stadium and also participate in the pre-series photo-shoot with the trophy.

18 and 21 April – The ODIs will start at 9.30am with the toss taking place at 9.00am. After the match, the PCB will provide brief interviews of the star performers of the match.

19 April – Both teams have opted not to train and have no media commitments planned.

20 April – Both sides are scheduled to hold training sessions from 10.00am.

22 April – Pakistan and West Indies are scheduled to train from 2.30pm.

23 April – The third ODI will commence at 3.30pm with the toss taking place at 3.00pm. After the match, the PCB will provide brief interviews of the star performers of the match.

Media advisory for the five T20Is will be shared in due course.
