Shahan Akram fined for showing dissent
Bahawalpur’s Shahan Akram was fined 40 per cent of his match-fee for breaching the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Players Support Personnel during his side’s City Cricket Association Tournament 2021-22 match against Rahim Yar Khan at the Sport Complex in Rahim Yar Khan on Monday.
Shahan had violated Clause 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct (Level 1), which reads as: “Showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during a match.”
Shahan pleaded guilty to the charge proposed by on-field umpires Qaiser Khan and Muhammad Kaleem.
