PCB: Tuba Hassan ruled out of Ireland series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly the Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan, is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It oversees and organizes all tours and matches for the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, the PCB represents Pakistan's men's and women's teams in international cricket tournaments.

Right-arm leg-spinner Tuba Hassan has been ruled out of the Ireland series due to injury in her index finger. The PCB Medical panel after investigating the injury have advised Tuba a four-week rest and therefore she was released from the T20I squad.

Tuba – who has featured for Pakistan in 16 T20Is, was part of the T20I squad only. The replacement for Tuba will be made in due course.

Pakistan and Ireland are all set to play six limited-overs matches, three ODIs – part of ICC Women’s Championship followed by three T20Is at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The matches will be played between 4 to 16 November and will be live-streamed on PCB YouTube channel.

Reserve players: Ghulam Fatima, Sidra Nawaz and Umm-e-Hani
