The Perth Scorchers are an Australian men's Twenty20 cricket team competing in the Big Bash League. Based in Perth, Western Australia, they wear an orange uniform and play their home games at Perth Stadium.

More than 300 cricket fans and participants from across the State came together at the iconic WACA Ground for the Play Cricket Come and Try Day to officially launch the opening of registrations for the epic cricket season that awaits.

Fans got to meet WA players including Cam Green, Joel Paris, Cam Gannon, David Moody and Molly Healy and grab their autographs.

It was smiles galore at the home of cricket with fans taking part in a number of activities including cricket clinics, a silent disco, bouncy castle and an inflatable bowling and batting net.

Cricket is a sport for all, with formats on offer for people of all ages and abilities.
