Perth Scorchers quick Matt Kelly has returned a positive PCR test result for COVID-19.Kelly woke with mild symptoms yesterday and consequently did not travel to Adelaide ahead of Perth’s clash with the Adelaide Strikers today.
Cameron Bancroft has also returned a positive PCR test result for COVID-19 since entering isolation on Tuesday as the close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case.
The rest of Perth’s travelling squad and staff returned negative rapid test results this morning, while Colin Munro is still recovering from COVID-19 in Coffs Harbour.
The Scorchers and Strikers will vie for the Jason Gillespie Trophy from 7:40am, WST.
