The Perth Scorchers are an Australian men's Twenty20 cricket team competing in the Big Bash League. Based in Perth, Western Australia, they wear an orange uniform and play their home games at Perth Stadium.

The Perth Scorchers match against the Sydney Sixers scheduled to be played at the SCG on Saturday 16 January will be moved to Canberra’s Manuka Oval.This KFC Big Bash League schedule change is one of three Cricket Australia officially announced today as a result of state border closures.

The match will now be played in line with ACT Health directions and with existing start times retained.

Head coach Adam Voges said;

“We understand the complexities of scheduling a summer of cricket during this pandemic and we thank everyone who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this happen and ensure the BBL10 season continues.

“While we would love to host more games here in Perth, we look forward to taking on the Sixers in Canberra.”
