Macrcocomm have invested in #ThePrideOfJozi eco-system from the DP World Men’s, DP World Ladies and the ever-impressive Imperial Wanderers Stadium. Largely focused on the stadium’s infrastructure upgrade, South Africa’s only Tier One cricket stadium will soon become the first smart stadium on the continent.

Lions Cricket CEO Jono Leaf-Wright elaborates on the significant signing in smart stadium solutions;

“Macrocomm began investing in club cricket with the Macrocomm Saturday KnockOut Cup, and further entrenched themselves in our Pride through their branding presence on the training kit of both professional teams. With their trust and backing, the Lions Pride and our home will soon offer our global fans an out of the ordinary match day experience – and for that we are extremely excited and most grateful to Team Macrocomm. #ThePrideOfJozi is one smart city, and thanks to Macrocomm, our valued Lions Cricket has just become a whole lot smarter.”

“At Macrocomm, we believe that our technology should advance youth and women empowerment. We are therefore proud of our association with Lions Cricket. Macrocomm focuses on technology where smart is made simple. This initiative will focus on enhancing spectator experience using cutting edge technology, transforming this iconic venue into a smart stadium,” says Sivi Moodley, Group CEO Macrocomm.

“What Macrocomm are going to bring to Lions Cricket, Imperial Wanderers Stadium and our much-valued fans is unseen of in the sporting circles of our continent: And if that doesn’t truly excite fans, then nothing else will,” concludes Leaf-Wright.
