The Emirates Cricket Board is desirous of having a portal/App, as a one stop destination for overseeing all aspects of cricket throughout the Emirates including all information regarding the UAE cricket players profiles and organizations associated with cricket all around UAE.
The App will be accessible to the public with details that ECB wishes to open for free and the rest will be based on secured access. The App will be fully owned by ECB with all necessary codes to update, upgrade, expose API’s, etc.
The app is currently being designed by a developer.
ECB is looking to hire the services of an individual to manage, maintain and oversee the portal/App.
Following is the broad scope of services required for this position:
- Oversee development and maintenance of ECB Portal/App
- Maintain close liaison will developers during the development phases and then during maintenance phases of the App
- Maintain direct liaison with Cricket Councils, players, academies, match officials, clubs etc which will all require registration on the App.
- Manage verification process of each registered entry in the App.
- Monitor and manage each module of the App including live stream, profiles, statistics and other data, payment gateway management.
- Work in collaboration with different departments within ECB for data gathering and verification to be used on the App.
Qualification:
1. IT background required.
2. The ideal candidate must have prior experience preferably working at a leading cricket technology company.
3. Candidates with knowledge of system designs would be given preference.
