About the role
As the Digital Marketing Executive – Participation, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a diverse range of marketing activities under the QLD Cricket and Brisbane Heat brands to promote and grow cricket.
Reporting to the Head of Digital & Marketing, in this role you will:
- Promote participation and growth in QC competitions, programs and activities
- Implement multi-channel communications and digital marketing campaigns to drive cricket participation, community engagement, fan engagement and attendance outcomes
- Utilise the Brisbane Heat brand and Big Bash League competitions to engage new and existing participants
- Support wider Queensland Cricket digital marketing initiatives including sponsorship campaigns, ticket sales, email marketing, website development and social media
- Lead impactful communications & campaigns to drive awareness
About you
The successful applicant must have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, advertising, social media, marketing, journalism or a related field
- Experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and initiatives
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong MS Office skills
- Experience using email marketing tools such as Insider, Mailchimp and Salesforce
- In-depth understanding and passion for social and digital media with established platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram
- Prioritisation and the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in digital media and/or marketing
- Current blue card for working with children issued by Blue Card Services Qld
