The Hobart Hurricanes are thrilled to announce the extension of their partnership with RedZed, with the self-employed mortgage lender signing on as the Principal Partner of the Hurricanes’ BBL team for another two-year term.

As well as being Principal Partner of the Hurricanes’ BBL team, RedZed will also continue as an official partner of the Hurricanes’ WBBL team and Cricket Tasmania, with their branding to be visible on both the Hurricanes’ BBL and WBBL apparel.

Since first coming on board with the Hurricanes at the start of BBL|11, RedZed has continued to work alongside not only the Hurricanes but also the wider Cricket Tasmania business throughout the entirety of the 2022-23 cricket season.

General Manager of the Hobart Hurricanes and Commerical, Scott Barnes, said the organisation was delighted to continue working alongside RedZed until at least 2025.

“We are thrilled that we will continue to not only have the RedZed brand emblazoned across our Hurricanes’ playing shirts for at least the next two seasons, but to continue working with RedZed across all areas of our business,” Barnes said.

“Both RedZed and Hurricanes hold very similar values that link to our strong commitment to community, members and fans alike, in that we both back people who back themselves, so it makes perfect sense for both parties for this partnership to continue.

“We feel that in a challenging environment we have already achieved a lot across the first two years of our organisations working together, and so can’t wait to see what we will achieve in the next two.”

RedZed’s Managing Director, Evan Dwyer, echoed Barnes’ sentiments.

“After two successful years we are delighted to extend our partnership with the Hobart Hurricanes,” Dwyer said.

“RedZed is proud to support a club and a state that is passionate about its community, the game of cricket, and its fans. We have been made to feel very welcome and we have had a strong affinity with Tasmanian self-employed professionals over the past 17 years, and it’s a privilege to support them and their cricket teams.”
