The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is the governing body for cricket in South Australia. Based in Adelaide, it oversees the South Australian men's and women's teams and manages the South Australian Grade Cricket League.

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) has engaged global executive search firm Elevate Talent to lead the recruitment of the executive leadership position – General Manager, Cricket.

SACA President Will Rayner said the appointment marked the beginning of a thorough global search for a new member of the SACA Executive Management team.

“The role of leading our Cricket Department is of the utmost importance in our business and we will be undertaking a thorough and exhaustive process in partnership with Elevate Talent,” Mr Rayner said.

“This role offers a unique opportunity for someone to become a leader at an organisation with the largest cricket Membership base in the world, based at arguably the best cricket ground in the world.”

“We are hungry for success both on and off the field, and are excited about the opportunity to drive our performances forward with fresh vision.”

SACA has appointed Josie Lahey and Jonathan Harris at global executive search firm Elevate Talent to lead the search process.

“The South Australia Cricket Association holds such an evocative position in world cricket, and the General Manager, Cricket role will be so important in the next phase of the Association’s evolution,” Lahey said.

“This will be an exceptional cultural lead, who can drive renewal across all aspects of cricket and performance.”
