Following the busiest day on record for Membership renewals, SACA are proud to announce that support for cricket in South Australia is at its healthiest levels in a generation.

With well over 25,000 Members already signed on as the calendar turns to September, including the highest level of new Member uptake in a decade, South Australians have signalled a huge appetite to return to live cricket and marquee events.

SACA’s Reserved Seat Membership, a new offering this summer, is sold out and steadily building a strong waitlist of its own. The new SACA Big Bash membership has also proved popular – a fantastic sign for the return of capacity crowds to Big Bash cricket as well as Test and One Day International fixtures.

SACA CEO Charlie Hodgson is thrilled by the clear passion and excitement expressed by cricket fans for the season ahead.

“What we have seen in recent weeks is a clear message from our Members, both existing and prospective, that attending live cricket is a priority for the year ahead. Our Association has been here for more than 150 years, and our amazing Members are ensuring that we continue to go from strength to strength.

“Our phones have been running hot with Members calling to continue their enduring involvement with SACA, as well as delighted first-time Members moving from our waitlist to full Membership. I thank every Member for their support and share their enthusiasm for the world-class summer of cricket as it draws ever closer.”
