The South Australian Cricket Association has joined forces with The Yoghurt Shop as an Official Partner of the West End Redbacks and SA Scorpions.
The Adelaide-based company will supply their nutritious high-protein products to SACA’s elite teams for two years as part of the players’ regular recovery routine.
SACA Dietician Marc Campbell said it was fantastic to team up with the growing South Australian brand.
“Nutrition is such a vital part of life as a modern athlete at the elite level,” Campbell said.
“The high nutritional value of products provided by The Yoghurt Shop can help our players in that all-important post-training and post-match recovery period.
“From a player perspective, taste and variety are also key factors and the feedback has been extremely positive in that regard. Our players have already grown to love the wide range of options and flavours on offer.”
Managing Director of The Yoghurt Shop, Simon Reynolds can’t wait for the summer to begin.
“We are really excited to be partnering the South Australian Cricket Association to provide athletes with our locally made, high protein yoghurt range. We hope to give the players a performance edge on the field, as well as an opportunity for our team to cheer them on from the sidelines.”
Originating as a simple stall at the Central Market, The Yoghurt Shop now has multiple locations across Adelaide and supplies yoghurt to over 2,000 retailers in five different countries.
