The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is the governing body for cricket in South Australia. Based in Adelaide, it oversees the South Australian men's and women's teams and manages the South Australian Grade Cricket League.

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) was not aware of the historical and concerning allegations relating to Shannon Tubb during the time of his employment with Cricket Tasmania until they surfaced in the media yesterday.

Mr Tubb, who has all the required police clearances, commenced employment with SACA in 2018 as a Talent Coordinator and is currently employed as the Head Coach for the Academy Pathways Program.

Since Mr Tubb commenced employment with SACA, there have been no concerns raised directly or indirectly with the organisation in relation to his conduct.

However, as SACA takes all matters relating to the conduct of our people very seriously, we are engaging with Cricket Tasmania and other parties as part of our own investigations into the matter before making any further comment.
