Saint Lucia Kings have strengthened their Caribbean Premier League (CPL) campaign by signing FREEMANS Tools, an Indian manufacturer of measuring tools, as a principal sponsor.

This partnership is significant for both parties. For FREEMANS Tools, it’s their first foray into cricket sponsorship, while for the cricket team, it offers a crucial financial boost in their pursuit of the CPL title.

Commenting on the partnership, Sahil Nayar, Executive Director at FMI Limited (FREEMANS), said, “We are thrilled to announce that, in the 75-year history of FREEMANS Tools, this marks the first time we are partnering with a cricket team. Becoming the Principal Sponsor of the Saint Lucia Kings in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is a significant milestone for us. We believe that our values align perfectly and are excited to combine our strengths to make this partnership a success. We wish SLK all the best for what promises to be an exciting season.”

Satish Menon, CEO of KPH Dream Cricket Pvt Ltd., added, “On behalf of the entire Saint Lucia Kings team, I would like to welcome on board FREEMANS as a principal sponsor. The team looks forward to winning our maiden title and putting in some brilliant performances both for our fans and for FREEMANS.”

As part of the deal, the FREEMANS Tools logo will feature prominently on the Saint Lucia Kings’ playing and training jerseys, along with significant brand exposure through various marketing efforts.

Founded in 1950, FREEMANS Tools is known for its high-quality measuring tools and has a global presence. The company also sponsors Kerala Blasters FC in the Indian Super League (ISL), underscoring its commitment to sports sponsorship.

The Saint Lucia Kings have built a strong squad for the 2024 CPL, featuring international stars like Heinrich Klaasen and Faf du Plessis, alongside local talents such as Johnson Charles and Alzarri Joseph. The addition of young sensation Noor Ahmad adds further depth.
