Sarah Adam-Gedge Joins Cricket Australia Board

Cricket Australia (CA), formerly the Australian Cricket Board (ACB), is the governing body for cricket in Australia. Established in 1905 as the Australian Board of Control for International Cricket, CA manages all national teams, including Men's, Women's, and Youth sides, as well as other national teams. It oversees the organization of Test matches, ODIs, and T20Is, and coordinates home international fixtures.

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced the appointment of Sarah Adam-Gedge as an Independent Director.

Adam-Gedge has been appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Michelle Tredenick who had served on the CA Board since 2015.

Adam-Gedge has held senior positions in Australia and globally in the digital transformation and technology industry starting at IBM where she became Managing Director and VP Growth Markets.

Most recently she was Managing Director and CEO of Wipro Australia and New Zealand, an Indian information and technology consulting business.

A chartered accountant, Adam-Gedge previously worked in the professional services industry and has extensive board room experience including as Deputy Chair of ship building company Austal Ltd and was previously on the board of Ovarian Cancer Australia. In addition, she has recently joined the boards of Codan Ltd and Kinetic IT Pty Ltd.
