SLC: Masuri Joins in as the ‘Official Cricket Helmet Partner of Sri Lanka Cricket’

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is the governing body for cricket in Sri Lanka. Originally registered as the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka on June 30, 1975, it was renamed Sri Lanka Cricket in 2003.

The UK based Masuri Group Limited joined in as the ‘’Official Cricket Helmet Partner of Sri Lanka Cricket’’, effective 31stAugust 2020. 

Under the multi-year agreement, Masuri, will provide Sri Lanka Cricket with ‘Helmets and StemGuards’ to be used by the National Men’s and Women’s team, ‘A’ Team, and the Under 19 team. 

The Honorary Secretary of the SLC, Mr. Mohan de Silva, and Mr. Sam Miller, Managing Director of the Masuri Group Limited signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties. 

This is the third successive term, Masuri entered into a partnership with Sri Lanka Cricket. 

 “We are extremely happy to continue our partnership with Masuri as our ’Official Cricket Helmet Partner,’ and the firm’s continuity with us shows the level of confidence they have on our cricketing brand,’ said Mr. Ashley De Silva, CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket. 

“Masuri, during its previous stints with Sri Lanka Cricket, has exceeded our expectations in terms of service delivery,’’ De Silva further said. 

During the period of the agreement, Masuri will function as the supplier of helmets to the SLC. Accordingly, Sri Lanka National Cricketers will wear a Masuri Cricket helmet, whilst representing the country during international matches.
