>>> Main Job Role
The Senior Manager Anti-Corruption will be the lead staff member for managing and delivering the operational response to combating the threat of corruption in cricket. He will operate within an independent framework. This is both a strategic and operational role. They will advise SLC on emerging issues and preventative strategies, whilst providing the initial investigative response to all reports of potential corrupt conduct.
>>> Required Qualifications & Experience
• Retired Military or Police Officers with the rank of Brigadier or equivalent and DIG in the Police Department
• A track record in sports administration and proven knowledge in sports related international anti-corruption laws will be a distinct advantage
• Previous experience in handling Stadium Security and anti-corruption activities will be an added advantage
>> Other Pre-requisites
• The highest standards of integrity and confidentiality
• Proficient IT skills
• Significant investigative experience
• Knowledge and experience of working with Intelligence
• Experience of dealing with a variety of information sources, some of which may be unreliable
• Ability to write detailed reports
• Understanding of betting related corruption
• Trusted to work alone and with own initiative
• A dynamic management style with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent interpersonal skills & Effective communicational skills
• Able to prepare and deliver presentations to differing audiences
• An understanding and interest in the sport of cricket
>>> General Information
This role will require a flexible approach to working hours, to work on weekends when necessary, willingness to take calls out of regular hours and able to respond in a dynamic way to incidents which may occur, especially during cricket season.
