Sri Lanka, Australia and England U19s will play a tri-nation series involving both T20 and 50-over games during the months of March and April 2024.

The matches will be played in MRICS, Hambantota, and GICS, Galle, while each team will play four T20 games and two 50-over games during the contest.

The winner of the contest will be decided based on the accumulated points based on match wins, while the focus of the series is to provide vital match exposure for U19 women cricketers.

“This tri-nation series involving both Australia and England is going to help our U19 women cricketers gain vital experience and exposure competing at the world stage, which will augur well for the women’s game in the country going forward,” said Mr. Ashley De Silva, CEO, Sri Lanka Cricket.
