Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is the governing body for cricket in Sri Lanka. Originally registered as the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka on June 30, 1975, it was renamed Sri Lanka Cricket in 2003.

Sri Lanka Cricket’s Executive Committee, whilst congratulating the two Sri Lankan Athletes, who brought glory to the country during the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, has taken a decision to reward and recognize the outstanding achievement of the duo.

Accordingly, Dinesh Priyantha Herath, who won the ‘Gold’ medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw F46, and Samitha Dulan Kodithuwakku, who won the Bronze in the Men’s Javelin Throw F44, will be rewarded with a monetary award.

Sri Lanka Cricket will present the ‘Recognition’ to the two athletes with the participation of the Minister of Youth and Sports Honorable Namal Rajapaksa.
