The Sri Lanka U19 Women’s Team, which is currently in South Africa taking part in the inaugural Women’s U19 World Cup to be held in South Africa, took part in a program held under the title “Team Centric Personality Transformation” before traveling to South Africa.
The squad underwent training and awareness sessions on “leadership,” “public speaking and body language training,” “how to conduct yourself as an acknowledged celebrity,” “effective communication,” and “personality transformation,” among several other important topics.
The welcome address for the two-day program was given by Major Tanesh Dias, Senior Manager, Human Resources, Sri Lanka Cricket.
While sessions were conducted by Mr. Ranjeewa Kulatunga, Chief Consultant of IIHRM; Dr. Manesha Kodithuwakku, Lead Consultant of IIHRM; Mrs. Kasturi Chellaraja Wilson, Managing Director of Hemas Pharmaceuticals; and Mrs. Sue Wickramaratne, consultant on beauty culture.
Mrs. Rosy Senanayake, the Mayor of the Colombo Municipal Council, who is also a former Mrs. World, delivered the keynote presentation, highlighting the importance of grooming and personal development.
The closing remarks were made by Lt. Colonel Manuja Kariapperuma, Consultant, Women’s Cricket Operations and Development of Sri Lanka Cricket.
The two-day program was held in Colombo.
