The Sydney Sixers have started their KFC BBL|14 season with a major win off-field, securing Australian-owned cryptocurrency exchange, Swyftx, as an Official Partner for the upcoming season.
Australia’s most popular cryptocurrency exchange, Swyftx was founded in 2018 by school friends, Alex Harper and Angus Goldman.
Proudly built ‘for Australians, by Australians’, Swyftx is driven by their mission to be the country’s most trusted exchange, building a loyal customer base of over 800,000 users to date.
A key asset of the deal will see Swyftx as the Match Day Presentation Partner for the marquee match of the summer, the Sydney Smash at the SCG.
The Sixers will host their crosstown rivals, Sydney Thunder, on January 17 in what has become the league’s most-anticipated contest and one of the top-rating matches each season.
Sydney Sixers General Manager, Rachael Haynes said it was fitting for the club to be partnering with a leader in their field.
“At the Sixers we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver great experiences to our members and fans, so it’s very fitting for us to welcome Swyftx, who are customer-focused in all that they do.
“Like the Sixers, Swyftx are innovators who strive to think outside the box and we’re proud to partner with an Australian brand who are driven by our same values.”
“Swyftx is thrilled to partner with the Sydney Sixers for what promises to be an electrifying season of cricket,” said Jason Titman, CEO of Swyftx.
“This collaboration is a natural fit, with the excitement of the BBL aligning perfectly with the growing momentum in the crypto market.
“As the Sixers heat up on the field, we’re proud to bring our innovative platform to the passionate cricket community and be part of the action this summer.”
Swyftx has previously partnered with other major Australian sporting organisations, including the Brisbane Lions and the NRL, and brings significant expertise in connecting with fans through engaging campaigns.
Their summer campaign ‘Ride the Crypto Wave’ highlights the growing interest in digital assets across Australia and aligns with the vibrant atmosphere of the Big Bash League.
Thunder welcome Swyftx as Major Partner for BBL|14
Sydney Thunder are proud to announce Swyftx, Australia’s leading cryptocurrency and financial exchange platform, as a Major Partner for the KFC BBL|14 season.
This partnership brings together two organisations committed to innovation, growth, and engaging diverse communities across Australia.
As part of the agreement, Swyftx branding will feature on the back of Thunder’s playing shirts. The partnership reflects both organisations’ shared vision of embracing new opportunities and connecting with fans through exciting experiences.
Sydney Thunder General Manager, Trent Copeland, expressed his excitement about the collaboration.

Swyftx’s CEO, Jason Titman, echoed these sentiments, emphasising the alignment between Swyftx’s innovative ethos and Thunder’s bold approach to cricket.
“We’re excited to partner with Sydney Thunder, a club that embodies passion and a connection to its community,” Titman said.
