The KFC Big Bash League has announced a revised schedule for January 17-19, the final three days of the regular season, with the Sixers headed to Adelaide and Brisbane.
The previously postponed Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers match from January 5 has been moved to January 19. The changes follow the previously announced schedule adjustments for the period of January 10-16.
All changes have been made to prioritise the health and safety of all players, match officials, staff, fans and the wider community while also providing greater flexibility and operational efficiency for the League and Clubs.
The Sixers’ next fixture is the GambleAware Sydney Smash against the Sydney Thunder at the SCG on Saturday night with second place on the BBL ladder likely to be on the line.
The revised Sixers schedule for January 17-19 is:
- January 17, 4:35pm ACDT: Adelaide Strikers v Sydney Sixers, Adelaide Oval. Seven, Foxtel & Kayo
- January 19, 12:05pm AEST: Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers, Gabba. Foxtel & Kayo

The Sydney Sixers are an Australian professional Twenty20 cricket team competing in the Big Bash League (BBL). Based at the Sydney Cricket Ground, the Sixers, along with the Sydney Thunder, succeeded the New South Wales Blues from the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.
