Six more past Sydney Sixers players have nominated for the inaugural KFC BBL overseas player draft.

Shadab Khan and Chris Jordan, who both played for the Sixers last summer in BBL|11, have been named amongst twelve world-class players given Platinum status by Cricket Australia today.

Tickets are on sale now! Family-friendly prices start from $5 for Kids, $25 for Adults and $55 for Families.

That pair are joined by fellow former Sixers stars, Sam Billings, who played for the Sydney Thunder last season, Jason Roy and Dwayne Bravo.

Also among the new nominations are title winning Sixers players Carlos Brathwaite and Tom Curran. They join James Vince and Jake Ball who had previously signalled their intention to return by nominating for the Draft.

Total nominations for Sunday’s Draft, to be broadcast live and exclusive on Fox Cricket, available on Foxtel channel 501 and Kayo Sports from 6:30pm AEST, now stands at 279 players.

The Sixers have the fourth pick in Rounds 1 and 2 of the draft, with each club entitled to one Retention Pick to be used in any round of the Draft.

A player is eligible for retention if they have played a match for that Club the previous season.

For the Sixers, possible retention picks if they were to nominate for the Draft include Vince, Curran, Jordan and Khan.

The list is headlined by the 12 Platinum players, who themselves form an outstanding and balanced T20 squad. The Platinum players in ‘batting order’ are:

– Faf du Plessis (South Africa)

– Jason Roy (England)

– Liam Livingstone (England)

– Sam Billings (England)

– Kieron Pollard (West Indies)

– Andre Russell (West Indies)

– David Willey (England)

– Shadab Khan (Pakistan)

– Dwayne Bravo (West Indies)

– Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)

– Chris Jordan (England)

– Trent Boult (New Zealand)

The updated nominations list can be found here.

Following the Draft, Clubs will be able to sign unselected players as Overseas Replacement Players based on their nominated availabilities in the Draft.
