Sydney Sixers WBBL First Nations Round playing shirts have been put up for auction, to raise funds for the Cricket New South Wales Foundation.
Designed by proud Wiradjuri woman Lua Pellegrini, the Sixers WBBL|13 kit tells the story of connection and community. You can read more on the details behind the design, here.
The squad donned their First Nations shirts against the Melbourne Renegades in Perth and again at North Sydney Oval, when they defeated the Hurricanes.
The players have now signed their individual jerseys for the auction, designed to raise funds to support the respective Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teams of the Sydney Sixers.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sixers teams will face off against their inner-city rivals, Sydney Thunder, in Bomaderry in February.
The game will be combined with a First Nations youth program – helping to inspire more boys and girls from Indigenous backgrounds to play cricket.
