Leading garage door opener manufacturer throws its support behind WBBL squad
Sydney Thunder is proud to announce Chamberlain – the ‘Do It Yourself’ brand of the Chamberlain Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of garage doors openers – has thrown its significant support behind the club.
The global brand has signed-on as an Official Partner of Sydney Thunder, and its respected name will feature prominently on both the back and sleeve of the club’s inspirational WBBL team’s playing shirt.
Their support is considered a huge vote of confidence in the Thunder team led by Rachael Haynes, who reaffirmed her superstar status in world cricket as the most valuable player of the recent One-Day International series against New Zealand.
Marketing Director Grant Emanuel said the company decided to align itself with Thunder because it recognised the club’s commitment to high performance and the community reflected its own values.
“As a family-owned business the partnership with the Sydney Thunder and WBBL is a perfect fit with our passion for helping families and the community to stay safe and to have fun together,” said Emanuel.
“We are also very excited to partner with the Sydney Thunder to help grow women’s cricket in Australia.”
Chamberlain is very proud of its reputation of providing families with access and convenience solutions. They provide quality and reliable products that solve problems for families looking for convenience when accessing the home, whether it is through a remote control or via an app with the start of art myQ smart home functionality. The full range is available at Bunnings stores across Australia.
Sydney Thunder’s Acting General Manager Chris Botherway said he was impressed Chamberlain was driven by the same edict that his club follows: to exceed their customers’ expectations and experiences.
“We’re very proud of our association with Chamberlain, a company that is a genuine global force,” said Botherway.
“I’m extremely pleased Chamberlain have thrown their support behind the women’s game and we look forward to bringing the partnership to life throughout WBBL|06.”
