Pool matches and finals set to be run across three action-packed nights at Blacktown International Sportspark
After delays due to the heavy rain that has blanketed Sydney over the past two weeks, the HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup is set to be run across three action-packed nights this week.
The annual HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup is a celebration of culture, cricket, community and social cohesion.
The seventh edition of the tournament will see teams represent six different communities – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
All players were selected from community trials held across the Thunder Nation throughout February and March.
Two pools of three teams are set to play off against each other at Blacktown International Sportspark on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, before the semi-finals and grand final on Thursday night.
Pool A consists of India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh and Pool B will feature Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
