Sydney Thunder’s Lauren Bell has been recalled by the England and Wales Cricket Board for her international side’s multiformat series against India next month.

Bell will depart the Thunder camp after this weekend’s game against Perth Scorchers at Cricket Central to join England’s training camp in Oman ahead of the series.

The fast bowler has contributed on and off the field in lime green and black this summer and the club wish her all the best on international duty.

Sydney Thunder Head Coach, Lisa Keightley said: “Lauren Bell has been a true professional in Thunder colours this summer and we’re lucky to have had her in and around the squad.

“She trained extremely hard to make sure she was ready to perform when called upon and has been a reliable voice and talent in the dressing room as well as on the field.

“We wish her the best of luck in her preparations for the India series and hope to see her back at Thunder and involved in the WBBL very soon.”
