The Sydney Thunder is an Australian professional cricket team competing in the Big Bash League (BBL). Based at Sydney Showground Stadium, the Thunder, along with the Sydney Sixers, succeeded the New South Wales Blues from the defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.

All proceeds to be donated to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund

Sydney Thunder is auctioning playing shirts and exclusive experiences to support communities and families who have been impacted by the devastating bushfires that have ravaged many communities throughout Australia.

The 13 playing shirts worn by Thunder’s squad that faced the Melbourne Stars at the MCG have all been individually signed and are available to be purchased. 

Playing shirts signed by the entire Thunder BBL|09 and WBBL|05 squads are also available, along with exclusive experiences including the opportunity to be in the official team photo.

All signed playing shirts will have a minimum bid of $175 with money raised to be donated directly to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund to provide much needed support to communities around Australia including those impacted by the fires.

The auction is live now and ends at 11:00pm on 22 January.
