Australia’s most exciting leg spinner has signed a contract with Sydney Thunder until the end of KFC BBL|15.
22-year-old Tanveer Sangha has agreed to stay with the club for the next two years following this year’s competition.
Having performed well in the HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup back in 2016, Thunder kept an eye on the youngster before offering him a place in the BBL|08 squad as a rookie.
Since then, Sangha has represented his country debuting for Australia’s T20 and ODI squads earlier this year, having also spent a month in England playing in the short format competition The Hundred.
Sangha and Sydney Thunder are back in action at Sydney Showground Stadium on Monday Jan 8, as they take on Perth Scorchers on home soil.
