The Titans, officially known as the Multiply Titans due to sponsorship, are a top-level cricket franchise in South Africa. Representing the Eastern Cricket Union and Northerns Cricket Union, their home venues are SuperSport Park in Centurion and Willowmoore Park in Benoni.

The Fidelity Titans are pleased to announce car maker, Renault South Africa, as their official vehicle partner for a period of three years.

The leading global automotive brand, recognized for its innovative and technologically advanced vehicles, has been in existence for 125 years and is positioned within the top 5 vehicle manufacturers in the passenger car market in South Africa.

The Fidelity Titans could not be more thrilled at forming an alliance with a brand that carries a strong heritage, track record and has passion at the core of its DNA.

Titans Cricket CEO, Dr Jacques Faul expressed his delight with teaming up with Renault. “We are excited to partner with forward thinking brands that are willing to support women’s cricket, more so in the way Renault have done, by making meaningful contributions to take the women’s game forward.”

“To have recently professionalised women’s cricket in South Africa and not long after have a brand like Renault come on board as a partner speaks volumes of the spirit within the team at Renault.” Faul continued.

Renault aims to strengthen its brand’s association with progressiveness, equality in the sporting world, increasing the support of women’s sports and fostering community engagement.

“On the topic of equality in sport, our partnership with the Titans and more specifically, the women’s cricket Team, we aim to make a difference and steer positive change, promote inclusivity & equality all while cultivating meaningful partnerships.” Explained Shumani Tshifularo, CEO at Renault South Africa.

Vice President of Marketing at Renault South Africa, Sithabile Maphumulo, echoed these sentiments. “Our partnership with the Fidelity Titans will further enable positive development within the realm of women’s sport, when more brands start participating and supporting women’s sports this will enable growth and support. Women’s sport is topical at the moment and this is based on the incredible talent we have within the country, which deserves recognition.”

The support Maphumulo speaks of is what guides and assists young players like Fidelity Titans wicketkeeper Tebogo Macheke and bowler Eliz-Mari Marx, who were recently named in the South African Emerging team, realise their dreams of one day playing for their country.

As a leading brand within the passenger car market and their core business, Renault has made a significant impact in South Africa through the introduction of a diverse range of models, with modern design, stylish looks and advanced technology.

Added to their portfolio is now their contribution to women’s sport and being the first vehicle manufacturer to support a professional women’s cricket team in South Africa through the partnership with the Fidelity Titans.
