The Momentum Multiply Titans would like to congratulate Morne Morkel on becoming the latest honorary life member for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).

Morkel, a long serving member of the Sky Blues and then the Proteas, has always been regarded as one of the game’s finest ambassadors.

“We are very proud of Morne, and this latest accolade from the MCC,” Titans Cricket CEO Dr Jacques Faul enthused.

“He started his journey in the Academy, and he has gone around the world, sharing his passion for the game.”

Morkel, who currently resides in Australia, expressed his delight on social media, amidst a wave of well wishes.

“I have never come across anyone who had a bad word to say about Morne, which is incredible for a big fast bowler!,” Faul added.

“That is just testimony to the spirit in which he played the game, and we couldn’t be prouder of not just what he did on the field, but even more of what he continues to do for it off the field.”
