USA Cricket is pleased today to announce the launch of a new membership portal through which its new membership program will be managed and the details of the 2021 Membership Program which will be accessible to the entire cricket community through a phased launch.

Chairman of the Membership Committee, Ajith Bhaskar, explained that, “In our Foundational Plan, USA Cricket identified the need to develop a new membership portal that could become a central focal point for the entire cricket community in the USA.  Over the past few months we have been working closely with our technology partner, Funngage, to develop that portal and we are excited to be able to take the first steps to launch it today. In addition, the USA Cricket Board recently approved a package of membership benefits that provide real value to all Leagues, Clubs, Academies and Individual Members immediately and we are confident that those benefits will evolve further as additional functionality is incorporated into the portal and the membership program matures and attracts the support of new commercial partners. We would like to thank everyone across the community for their patience as we developed this portal, we really appreciate your ongoing support.”

The 2021 USA Cricket Membership brochure can be found here (or you can browse below) and contains important information about the timing of the phased launch of the membership portal over the next few weeks, the costs and benefits for different categories of membership, the next steps for those interested in joining as well as where to direct any questions that may arise.

USA Cricket CEO, Iain Higgins, added, “A lot of time and effort has gone into the development of a bespoke membership portal that will help to bring together the US cricket community and we are very excited to be able to take the first step on a long-term project that has huge potential for us all. We are adopting a phased approach to the launch, so that we can focus on being as inclusive as possible and providing sufficient time, attention and support to each segment of the cricket community at the appropriate time.  To that end, we will be in further contact with all Leagues and Academies over the coming weeks as we seek to persuade as many of them to join USA Cricket so that they and their members can enjoy the various benefits offered now and in due course.  Furthermore, the ‘Introductory’ membership package and cost structure for 2021 reflects USA Cricket’s desire to be sympathetic to the financial and logistical challenges faced by cricket communities across the country during 2020 as well as the need to be as inclusive as possible at an important time.”

All questions relating to the membership program or benefits should be addressed to the following e-mail address: membership@usacricket.org.
