USA Cricket: Sai Tanmayi Eyyunni replaces Moksha Chaudhary in USA Women’s squad in UAE

  • USA Women’s National Selection panel confirms one of the two remaining named reserves in 15 year-old leg-spinner, Sai Tanmayi Eyyunni who will now fly to UAE

Moksha Chaudhary will return from the current USA Women’s tour of the United Arab Emirates which includes the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in Abu Dhabi. Chaudhary is sadly unfit to participate due to medical reasons and will be unable to play in the rest of the tour.

She has been replaced by the 15-year-old leg-spinner from Houston, Texas, Sai Tanmayi Eyyunni who was one of the two remaining reserves from the originally named squad. Tanmayi Eyyunni is making her Senior Women’s squad debut and could become the eighth new T20 International for the USA Women’s Team on this tour with seven debutants having already played over the course of the first two T20 Internationals in the current Quadrangular Series in Dubai.

USA Women play again tomorrow vs UAE in the final match of the Quadrangular Series being played by USA, Thailand, Zimbabwe and the hosts, UAE. The updated 15-player Team USA Squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 Global Qualifier can be found below.
