USA Cricket announces that Sanjay Krishnamurthi has been called into the United States Men’s National Team as a reserve player for the ongoing Tour of Oman with the return of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 getting underway next week in Muscat. Krishnamurthi has been brought into the squad as injury cover and arrived in Oman safely yesterday.

The 18 year old all-rounder was the leading wicket taker at the USA Cricket Men’s Under 19 National Championships in Texas in April and has been in fine form with bat and ball for the East Bay Blazers in the 2021 Toyota Minor League Cricket Championship presented by Sling TV.

Team USA made their return to international cricket this week for the first time in 18 months with two ODI wins over Papua New Guinea. They will now face off against Nepal and hosts Oman in a series of One Day Internationals in Muscat where each side plays each other twice starting from September 13th.
