  • New opportunities to partner with USA Cricket as Title Sponsor of the USAC Men’s Senior 50-Over National Championships in both 2021 and 2022 and the Men’s U19 50-Over National Championships in 2022
  • Additional Event Partner categories and opportunities also being developed
  • Interested companies are requested to express interest by October 29th, 2021

USA Cricket is pleased to announce today that it is seeking Expressions of Interest from reputable commercial entities wishing to partner with USA Cricket to help it to deliver the USAC Men’s National 50-Over Championships, for both 2021 and 2022, as well as for the Men’s U19 National 50-Over Championships in 2022.

Expressions of Interest are being sought as USA Cricket continues to put in place the building blocks and partnerships upon which the sport can grow successfully in the USA.  It follows a summer of competitive domestic cricket right across the country, with USA Cricket staging a hugely successful Men’s U19 National Championships (highlights here), and launching a new women’s and girls’ domestic structure which culminated in the Women’s Senior and U19 National Championships (highlights here), as well as the Minor League Cricket Championships, organized and delivered by USA Cricket’s commercial partner, MLC (highlights here).  Earlier this year USA Cricket also announced its first commercial partnership, with Sistar Mortgage coming on board as the USA national team sponsor and founding partner of the women and girls’ domestic structure

The Men’s Senior and U19 National Championships represent the final part of the pathway to the respective national 50-over teams and is the highest standard of 50-over cricket played by men and boys in the USA, with representative zonal teams involving the best players in the country.  The Men’s Senior National Championships will take place from the 15th to 19th of November at the MLC National Cricket Center at Prairie View Cricket Complex in Texas, as recently confirmed here.

As interest and investment in these events increase, it is anticipated that the matches played within them will be broadcast and/or live streamed to a high-quality production specification across the country and internationally.

USA Cricket Chief Executive, Iain Higgins, explained, “The opportunity to partner with USA Cricket across a number of important domestic properties and on a multi-year basis allows interested parties to benefit from extended periods of association, and there is scope at this early stage for partnerships to be designed and delivered creatively in a way that best aligns with a commercial partner’s own objectives and purpose.  Partnering with USA Cricket presents an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in growing the sport and helping to make cricket a mainstream sport in the USA, and we look forward to discussing the opportunity with those interested parties over the coming weeks.”

Initial expressions of interest are sought by no later than October 29th, and further materials will be shared with interested parties whose profile and brand fit with USA Cricket’s strategic and commercial objectives.  All interested parties should express interest to RFP@usacricket.org, providing basic company details, a main contact point and a summary of any prior involvement in cricket.
