- New opportunities to partner with USA Cricket as Title Sponsor of the USAC U19 Men’s 50-Over National Championships in 2023
- Additional Event Partner categories and opportunities also being developed
- Interested companies are requested to express interest by June 9th, 2023
USA Cricket is pleased to announce today that it is seeking Expressions of Interest from reputable commercial entities wishing to partner with USA Cricket to help it to deliver the USAC U19 Men’s National 50-Over Championships from 26th – 29th June, 2023.
Expressions of Interest are being sought as USA Cricket continues to put in place the building blocks and partnerships upon which the sport can grow successfully in the USA. The U19 Men’s Program in 2023 represents an exciting opportunity, with the National Championships also serving as a crucial selection tool for the USA Cricket U19 team, with the ICC U19 Americas 2024 World Cup Qualifier scheduled to take place in Toronto, Canada from August 7-18, 2023. The National Youth Selectors will be in attendance in California, hoping to pick a squad that can emulate the recent success of our Men’s Team in Namibia.
Back in 2021 USA Cricket staged hugely successful Men’s U19 National Championships for the first time in its history (highlights here), and the hopes for a similar marquee event are high for this year.
The organization has prepared a detailed deck (see here) outlining the benefits and opportunities of partnering with USA Cricket for its U19 Men’s program. Initial Expressions of Interest are sought by no later than June 9th, and further materials will be shared with interested parties whose profile and brand fit with USA Cricket’s strategic and commercial objectives. All interested parties should express interest to RFP@usacricket.org, providing basic company details, a main contact point and a summary of any prior involvement in cricket.
As interest and investment in these events increase, it is anticipated that the matches played within them will be broadcast and/or live streamed to a high-quality production specification across the country and internationally.
USA Cricket Board Member, and Chair of the Cricket Committee, Srini Salver, explained, “The opportunity to partner with USA Cricket in this incredibly important and exciting year for U19 cricket should be very compelling for interested parties. The potential is there for parties to benefit from association with a program that leads to an appearance in the U19 World Cup early next year, and there is scope at this early stage for partnerships to be designed and delivered creatively in a way that best aligns with a commercial partner’s own objectives and purpose. Partnering with USA Cricket presents a wider opportunity to play an integral role in growing the sport and helping to make cricket a mainstream sport in the USA, and we look forward to discussing the opportunity with those interested parties over the coming weeks.”
