USA Cricket (USAC) is the governing body for cricket in the United States, overseeing the national men's, women's, and youth teams. It also manages Major League Cricket, the premier domestic Twenty20 competition in the U.S.

USA Cricket can today confirm that it has officially sanctioned the 2020 edition of the US Open that will be held December 15-20, 2020 at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The event now in its 12th year, which is also officially sanctioned by the ICC, gives American players an opportunity to play against players from around the world. The tournament will feature players from the United States and other international cricketing nations across 8 different teams playing out for the US Open 2020 crown.

This year’s tournament has reduced the number of teams competing due to COVID-19 protocols that are being strictly adhered to by the organizers from Cricket Council USA, so as best to allow players, umpires and coaches involved to take part safely.

USA Cricket would like to wish the best of luck to all the players competing this year and to all the volunteers and administrators that are working hard to make it a successful event in this difficult year.
