Venue Events Coordinator – Fixed Term
WA Cricket is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate admin proficient events guru to join the team for the duration of the cricket season!
About the role
This role will provide support and assistance in the planning and delivery of cricket events at the WACA Ground and Optus Stadium. This is full time role and will span the duration of the cricket season from September – April.
Who we are looking for
- Assist with the coordination, planning and delivery of Domestic and International cricket events at the WACA Ground and Optus Stadium, including Perth Scorchers’ W/BBL matches
- Assist with the delivery of non-cricket and large-scale events at the WACA Ground
- Coordinate the resourcing of events, including rostering customer service, security, first aid and other event staff for event days
- Coordinate the recruitment of casual event staff including selection, training and rostering
- Compose all event documentation, including event plans, event setup lists, staff brief sheets and event signage
- Participate in event planning, briefing and debriefing meetings including preparing, distributing and managing event documentation, agendas and action items
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, venues and contractors, including Cricket Australia and Optus Stadium
- Assist with the delivery of the Cricket Australia accreditation process for all WA Cricket staff, players and contractors
- General event, administration and financial support duties to ensure delivery of events within budgets and timeframes in compliance with WA Cricket’s financial practices and administrative processes
- Undertake other associated duties consistent with the standing and responsibilities of the position
