Daniel Worrall and Will Bosisto have been included in South Australia’s 15-player squad to face Victoria at ACH Group Stadium (Glenelg) from Friday.
Bosisto comes into the squad for Jake Weatherald, who is taking leave away from cricket due to personal reasons.
Weatherald did not make himself available for selection and has left the hub to focus on his wellbeing.
Sports Science and Sports Medicine Manager John Porter said Jake had been consulting with the SACA medical team post the Tasmania match, and decided it best for him to take time out of the game to focus on his mental health.
“We are supportive of Jake who has made the tough but right decision to leave the hub and focus on life outside of cricket for a short period,” Porter said.
“We are fully supportive of his decision and we’ll be keeping in touch with him and providing every support to ensure he is available for selection as soon as possible.”
Daniel Worrall has been cleared of a calf strain that ruled him out of the first two rounds, while Kane Richardson was unavailable for selection as he is now on parental leave.
Play begins at 10:30am on Friday at ACH Group Stadium (Glenelg Oval). Entry is free.
